Synonyms[1]

Helminthotheca (commonly called ox-tongue)[2] is a genus in the Cichorieae tribe of the sunflower family.[3][4] Helminthotheca is closely related to the genus Picris, both within the Hypochaeridinae subtribe.[5][6]
