Areca chaiana is a species of flowering plant in the family Arecaceae. It is a tree endemic to Borneo. It is threatened by habitat loss but occurs in Lanjak Entimau Wildlife Sanctuary and Semengoh Arboretum near Kuching, Sawak.[1]
