The Valley Line Trail is a multi-use trail connecting the northwest side of Chicago to the communities of Lincolnwood, Illinois and Skokie, Illinois.[1][2] The Chicago portion of the trail has been referred to as the Sauganash Trail[3], and as the Valley Line Trail as the trail continues into Chicago's northern suburbs. The municipalities of Glenview, Illinois, Wilmette, Illinois, Northfield, Illinois and Skokie, Illinois are currently developing plans to build 4.5 miles of new multi-use trail following the existing ComEd and Union Pacific ROW in northern Cook County.[4]
