Metatron is the third album of Bill Laswell and Buckethead's project Praxis. This album concentrates on the core band of Buckethead, Brain and Laswell, rather than featuring numerous guests like the earlier albums.

This album includes calm interludes like the songs "Cathedral Space" and "Double Vision", as well as some mysterious voice samples like in the song "We Are Not Sick Men!" and some of Buckethead's typical noises that are well known. For example, in the song "Armed (TSA Agent #5)" Buckethead plays the melody of "Jingle Bells" with a distorted sampler guitar; also, the song "Warcraft (Bruce Lee's Black Hour of Chaos)" features kung fu-inspired screaming.
