Sholezard (Template:Lang-fa /ʃʊllə zærd/) is an Iranian traditional saffron rice pudding dessert.[1]

It is traditionally served on the occasion of festivals such as Tirgan, as well as Ramazan.

Ingredients

Sholezard is made of rice, and is flavored with saffron, sugar, rose water, and cardamom. It is typically decorated with cinnamon, almonds, and pistachios.
