Biron Dewal is a village in the Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand state in northern India. It is about 3 km from Chandrapuri and is notable for the Maa Chandika Temple, which has Brahmins of 'Dimri' Kandpal & Bhatt casts. It is said that here "'Maa Chandika Temple' was made by Pandva's.[citation needed] Every 12 years a ritual called Banyath is done.[clarification needed] Television anchor Girish Sharma is from this village.
