Paul E. Simons served as the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the United States to Chile from 9 November 2007 to 2010.

In April 2015, Paul Simons had been selected new Deputy Executive Director of the International Energy Agency (IEA). He assumed office in July 2015.[1]
