Hypermastigid

Hypermastigia (hypermastigids) is the name used for a group of flagellate parasites which were placed under the excavata class. They are now treated as belonging to one of the groups Tritrichomonadea, Hypotrichomonadea, or Trichomonadea within the Parabasalia.[1]
