The coastal miner (Geositta peruviana) is a species of bird in the family Furnariidae. It is endemic to Peru.
Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical dry shrubland.
Description
The coastal miner is a small member of its genus, measuring about 12–13 cm (4.7–5.1 in) and weighs between 16–19 g (0.56–0.67 oz). It is primarily buffy above and white below.[2]
