The black-headed woodpecker (Picus erythropygius) is a species of bird in the family Picidae. It is found in Cambodia, Laos, Myanmar, Thailand, and Vietnam.

Male and female

Its natural habitats are temperate forests and subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
