Oak Grove, also known as Rolyat, is an unincorporated community in Bowie County, Texas. Located in the northwestern part of the county, it is 4 miles (6.4 km) from DeKalb.

History

Oak Grove was founded on the Missouri Pacific Line. It is located on U.S. Route 82. A post office was opened in 1893 under the name Rolyat, but changed to Oak Grove in 1906 due to the Oak Trees nearby. The post office closed in the 1950s. In 2000, 294 residents lived in Oak Grove.[1]
