Ricky L. Thomas (born March 29, 1965) is a former American football defensive back in the National Football League. He is currently the defensive backs coach for the Southwest Minnesota State football team. He played college football at Alabama.

Thomas has coached for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts during his career.
