The Kwahu East District is one of the twenty-one (21) districts of the Eastern Region of south Ghana. The capital is Abetifi.[1]

History

The Kwahu East district Ghana territorial division was announced in October 2007.[1] The Kwahu East district was created and inaugurated on 29 February 2008 by NPP John Kufuor.[1]
