Christopher Alan Saunders (born 15 January 1950) is an Australian Roman Catholic bishop.

Ordained to the priesthood on 28 August 1976, Saunders was named bishop of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Broome, Australia in November 1995 and appointed in February 1996.[1]

In March 2020, Saunders voluntarily stood aside from the administration of the diocese. This was stated to be due to a review of the diocese ordered by the Vatican. He stepped down the day after the revelation that the Western Australian Police had been investigating an allegation made 18 months earlier of sexual misconduct by him.[2]
