Kounov is a small village and municipality in Rychnov nad Kněžnou District in the Hradec Králové Region of the Czech Republic.

Fictional dinosaur discovery

In 2008 information on the internet emerged, that two large species of dinosaurs were found here - theropod Torvosaurus orliciensis and ceratopsid Hlukyceratops kounoviensis.[1]
