Žalany (German: Schallan) is a village and municipality (obec) in Teplice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic.
The municipality covers an area of 9.87 square kilometres (3.81 sq mi) and has a population of around 500.
Žalany lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-east of Teplice, 13 km (8 mi) south-west of Ústí nad Labem, and 67 km (42 mi) north-west of Prague.
