Sangau[1] is a rural development block within Lawngtlai district in Mizoram. Sangau is among the tourist attractions of Mizoram due to presence of Phawngpui or Blue Mountains, which is the highest mountain peak in Mizoram. It is sandwiched between Bangladesh and Myanmar. The people of the area are considered to be one of the lost tribes of Israel, thousands of residents have moved to Israel start lives there.
