Handcream for a Generation is the fourth studio album by the British indie rock band Cornershop, released on 1 April 2002 by Wiiija. The album received positive reviews from music critics.

Music and lyrics

Handcream for a Generation features contributions from two Oasis members. Noel Gallagher contributed guitar to "Spectral Mornings" and former Oasis bassist Guigsy played bass on "Lessons Learned from Rocky I to Rocky III".[1] The track "People Power" has the same lyric as the first track on the album Disco and the Halfway to Discontent by former Cornershop side project Clinton, set to different music.[2]
