If I Only Knew is the eight studio album of American girl group the Emotions, released in 1985 by Motown Records.[4] The album reached No. 11 on the UK Blues & Soul Hiplist chart.[5]
Critical reception
AllMusic gave the album a three out of five star rating.[1] Blues & Soul also noted "classy ballads", "uptempo soulful gems" and songs which "dabble in pop funk" and "hit a rock blues vein" on the album.[2]
