Flueggea suffruticosa is a species of flowering plant in the family Phyllanthaceae. It is a deciduous shrub that is widely distributed in Asia, America, Europe, and Africa.[2] It is one of the 50 fundamental herbs used in traditional Chinese medicine, where it has the name yī yè qiū (Chinese: 一叶秋).[3]
Uses
Folk medicine
As one of the 50 fundamental herbs, it is a plant in traditional Chinese medicine. The twigs and leaves of F. suffruticosa are used for the treatment of lumbago, numbness of limb, and indigestion,[2] although there is no scientific evidence that it has any clinical effect.
