Chad Christensen is a state representative, representing Idaho's 32nd district, Seat B. He is a Republican.

Personal life

Christensen was born in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho, with an associate degree in criminal justice. He also graduated from Idaho State University in Pocatello, Idaho, with a bachelor's degree in political science. He is a Mormon.

Chad served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in San Diego, California. He served 12 years in law enforcement (8 years for the state of Idaho as a parole officer and a welfare fraud investigator). He is a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the Military Police Regimental Association.

He also belongs to the American Legion, John Birch Society, Oath Keepers, Idaho Farm Bureau, Idaho Second Amendment Alliance, and the NRA. He has been a hockey and baseball coach. He has served as a high school and American Legion baseball umpire.
