Rashmi (also Rashami, Rashmika) (Sanskrit: रश्मि) is a Hindu/Sanskrit feminine given name in India and Nepal. Rashmi means a single 'ray of light', a very popular name in Hindu. May also be used as a male name. We have a reference in Sanskrith by the word "Soorya rashmi" means "A ray of light arriving from Sun", giving light to the world.
