The M44 is a planned and currently under-construction motorway in Hungary. It is intended to connect the city of Békéscsaba near the Romanian border with the M5 interchange at Kecskemét. The construction is split into three phases, 31, 62, and 18 km long. The 62 kilometer section has been finished and is currently in use, while two other sections are under construction.[1]
