Lokhim is a village development committee, now it is officially changed thulung dudhkoshi Ward No. 9. The chairperson of the village is Bhupal Shing Rai.

Four major casts are living with their own believes and culture such as Lhosar, Tosi and local festivals are popular. Tamang, Rai, Bishwakarma and Sherpa are the major local people In this village. Slowly educational institutions as increasing yearly where are 5 schools are in operation phase. in Solukhumbu District in the Sagarmatha Zone of north-eastern Nepal. At the time of the 1991 Nepal census it had a population of 3098 people living in 585 individual households.[1]
