Template:Korean name Cho Byung-deuk (Korean: 조병득, born May 26, 1958) is a South Korean former football player and goalkeeper coach. He is regarded as one of the greatest South Korean goalkeepers of all time.[4][5] He had a supple and nimble body, and accurate goal kick skill.[5][6] He was the first goalkeeper who recorded an assist in the K League.[5] He played for South Korea at the 1980 AFC Asian Cup, 1986 Asian Games, 1988 Summer Olympics and 1988 AFC Asian Cup.[7] He conceded 29 goals in 44 caps and won the 1986 Asian Games.[7] He was also selected as a member of South Korea squad for the 1986 FIFA World Cup, but was pushed by his rival Oh Yun-kyo to the bench, and didn't appear throughout the tournament.[6]
