The Third Charm [5] Korean : 제3의 매력 RR : Je3ui Maeryeok South Korean television series directed by Pyo Min-soo and starring Seo Kang-joon and Esom . It explores the real side of relationships between couples. It aired on JTBC 's Fridays and Saturdays at 23:00 (KST ) time slot, from September 28 to November 17, 2018.[6] [7] [8] [9]
Synopsis The series tells the twelve-year love story of two individuals with completely opposite personalities, who unexpectedly meet on a group blind date in their 20s. They meet again when they are 27 years old, and for a third time as 32 year olds.
Cast Main A meticulous and principled university student who never deviates from his perfectly scheduled routines.[10] A spontaneous and emotional but honest woman who gave up college and started working as an assistant hairdresser. Supporting Young-jae's brother. A barista who runs a coffee truck and dreams of becoming a screenwriter.[11] Boss of the hair salon where Young-jae works.[12] Min Woo-hyuk as Choi Ho-chul A talented plastic surgeon who has a crush on Young-jae.[13] [14] A police officer who likes Joon-young.[15] Lee Sang-yi as Hyun Sang-hyun Joon-young's best friend.[16] Joon-young's younger sister.[17] A top star loved by many due to her beautiful appearance. She is Young-jae's high school alumnus and rival.[18] [14] Joon-young's mother.[19] Joon-young's father. Joon-young's close friend.[20] Production The female lead role was first offered to Chun Woo-hee and Choi Soo-young in April and May 2018 respectively, but both actresses declined the offer.[21] [22]
The first script reading was held in July 2018 at JTBC building in Sangam-dong , Seoul.[23]
