Pukkoya Tangal, full P. M. S. A. Pukkoya Tangal (d. 1975)[1], of the Pukkoya Tangal family of Panakkad, was an Indian community leader and Indian Union Muslim League politician from Kerala.[1] He served as the President of Indian Union Muslim League (Kerala) and the President of Samastha Kerala Jamiat ul-Ulema (the body of Sunni-Shafi'i scholars in Kerala).[2]

The tangal was born in the Pukkoya family of northern Kerala. He was widely believed to possess the Grace of Karamat and was revered for his "saintly" qualities by the Kerala Muslims. The tangal is also said to be the Shaikh of the al-Aydarusiyya wa-Alawiyya.[1]

Pukkoya Tangal was succeeded by his eldest son Shihab Thangal (1936 - 2009).[1]
