Dhaulana is one of the three tehsils of Hapur district of Uttar Pradesh state of India. It was created on 28 September 2011 and comprises 91 villages. It lies on the road which takes off at Masoori and joins the Meerut-Hapur- Bulandsaher State Highway at Gulaothi. Dhoulana is 25 km from District headquarters of Hapur. It is connected in the north with the Pilkhuwa railway station by an 8 km long road.

Mohd. Aslam Chaudhary of Bahujan Samaj Party is elected MLA of 17th Vidhan Sabha from March-2017-incumbent tenure .[1]

History

According to local legend, this village was founded 1500 years ago by a man named Mohd Abdul and was named after him. In 1857, this village became a theatre scene of India's first Independence War, in which the 14 local martyr men lost their lives. Their bodies were buried by the English Officials with the 1 dog under old Martyr memorial (nearby primary pathshala and Dhaulana vegetable market), only to give a threatening message to the local people.
