Higgins Lake is an unincorporated community in Roscommon County in the U.S. state of Michigan. As an unincorporated community, Higgins Lakes has no legally defined boundaries or population statistics of its own. Located within Lyon Township along the western shores of Higgins Lake, the community has its own post office with the 48627 ZIP Code.[1] The community is served by Roscommon Area Public Schools.[2]
The majority of the Higgins Lake area is served separately by the Roscommon 48653 ZIP Code.[3] The community of Higgins Lake is near U.S. Route 127 to the west and Interstate 75 to the east.
