Grīziņkalns is a neighbourhood of Riga, the capital of Latvia. The Holy Trinity Cathedral, Riga and Daugava Stadium (Riga) are situated here. Latvian writer Jānis Grīziņš described the area in his book 'Varnu Street Republic' ('Crow Street'), filmed in 1958.
