Lakhni is a Large Village a Nagar panchayat in Bhandara district in the Indian state of Maharashtra.It Connected to National Highway NH-53.
Lakhni is an educational center for the nearby area. There are number of schools and colleges in Lakhni. Samarth Vidyalaya, Zansi Rani kanya vidyalaya, The Little Flower English School & Jr College, Universal English Medium School, and Gandhi Vidyalaya are important schools in Lakhni. N.P. Waghaye Sainiki vidyalaya, Lakhni is the only military school in Bhandara district, situated at Kesalwada/Wagh near Lakhni. Little Flower School is the only convent with Jr college attached to it in the area. Samarth Mahavidyalaya, Lt. N.P.W. college and Vidarbha college are important colleges in Lakhni.
