Meetha Pur is a census town in South district in the Indian state of Delhi.
Demographics
As of 2001[update] India census,[1] Mithe Pur had a population of 41,243. Males constitute 56% of the population and females 44%. Mithe Pur has an average literacy rate of 67%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 75%, and female literacy is 56%. In Mitha Pur, 19% of the population is under 6 years of age. Mithapur is dominated by bidhudi clan of gurjar and small population of brahmins and other Hindus are also present.
