Subhranshu Roy is an Indian Politician from the state of West Bengal. He is a two term member of the West Bengal Legislative Assembly.[1][2]. On 24 May 2019, he joined Bharatiya Janata Party[3][4] and later Trinamool Congress suspended him for six years. [5][6]. He currently represents the Bijpur (Vidhan Sabha constituency).[7][8]

Political Career

He is a former leader of the All India Trinamool Congress.[9][10] On 28 May 2019, he joined the Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of senior BJP leaders Mukul Roy and Kailash Vijayvargiya.[11]
