Olha Vitaliyivna Stefanyshyna (Ukrainian: Ольга Віталіївна Стефанішина; born 29 October 1985[2]) is a Ukrainian lawyer and civil servant. On 4 June 2020, she was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration.[3][4]

Biography

In 2008, she graduated from the Institute of International Relations of the University of Kyiv (in international law and English translator).[1] In 2016, she received a specialist degree in Finance and Credit from Odessa National Economics University.[5][1]

Stefanyshyna (after a short career as legal adviser) became an employee of the Ministry of Justice at the end of 2007.[1]

From March to December 2017, Stefanyshyna worked as the Director of the Government Office for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Cabinet of Ministers Secretariat.[5]

In December 2017, she was appointed Director General of the Government Office for the Coordination of European and Euro-Atlantic Integration of the Secretariat.[5] Stefanyshyna was awarded the Certificate of Honor of the Cabinet of Ministers.[5]

In the 2019 Ukrainian parliamentary election Stefanyshyna tried to get elected to parliament as number 25 on the party lisy of Ukrainian Strategy.[2] In this election Ukrainian Strategy failed to win any parliamentary seats gaining 2.41% of the total votes while the election had a 5% election threshold.[6] (The party also failed to win a constituency seat.[7]) After the election she worked for the Ilyashev & Partners Law Firm.[1]

On 4 June 2020 Stefanyshyna was appointed as the Deputy Prime Minister for European and Euro-Atlantic Integration in the Shmyhal Government.[3][4]
