12 Mighty Orphans is an upcoming American sports film directed by Ty Roberts and starring Martin Sheen, Robert Duvall and Luke Wilson.[1][2][3] It is based on the non fiction book by Jim Dent, Twelve Mighty Orphans: The Inspiring True Story of the Mighty Mites Who Ruled Texas Football.[4][5]

Production
Principal photography took place from October 7-November 25, 2019 in Weatherford, Texas[6] and Cleburne, Texas.[7] Filming also took place in Fort Worth, Texas.[8][9]
Early in development, Alice Eve was attached to the project.[10]
