The 2020 Americas Rugby Championship will be the fifth series of the Americas Rugby Championship (sometimes informally called the "Americas' Six Nations", a reference to Europe's Six Nations Championship), which is the top elite tournament for the Americas nations. It will be contested by Argentina XV (Argentina's secondary national team), Canada, United States, Uruguay, Brazil, and Chile. All matches will be full international test matches with caps awarded, except those involving Argentina XV. Argentina XV are the defending champions, having won their second title last year.

Starting this year, the sixth-place finisher in the competition will contest their spot in the tournament against the winner of the Americas Rugby Challenge.[1]
