Ayutha Ezhuthu (transl. 'Three dots') is an Indian Tamil-language drama on Star Vijay. It premiered on 15 July 2019.[1] starring - Mounika, Sreethu Nair / Sharanya Turadi Sundaraj, and Amzath Khan / Anand Selvan.[2]

Plot

Indira becomes the sub collector of the village which is being dominated by Kaaliammal. While Indira wants to set things right, Kaaliammal doesn't likes it and they both get into a tiff. Meanwhile, Indira falls in love with Sakthivel unaware that he is Kaaliammal's son.

Production

The first promo of the series was released on 12 June 2019.[3]

Casting

In November 2019, the leads Sreethu Krishnan and Amjad Khan were replaced by Sharanya Turadi Sundaraj and Anand after Amjad Khan quit owing personal reasons.[4]

In February 2020, Jiva Ravi playing Ravi decided to quit the series but soon dropped the plan.[5]

Filming

The series is set in a rural backdrop. The initial scenes were filmed at Karaikudi.[6]

Remakes

It is remade in Kannada as Sangarsha starring Tejaswini Shekar, Vanitha Vasu and Rohith which was supposed to premiered on 23 March 2020 on Star Suvarna.[7][8] However, owing Covid-19 outbreak and lockdown in India, it was postpone and premiered on 15 June 2020.[9]
