Enyinna Nwigwe is a Nigerian actor and producer. He is best known for The Wedding Party, Black November, and Black Gold.
Early life and education
Nwigwe was raised in Ngor Okpala in Imo State, along with two sisters and a brother, by retired public servants.[1] He graduated from the University of Calabar in Nigeria with a degree in Economics.[2] He speaks both Igbo and English.[3]
Career
While in university, Nwigwe began his career as a runway and print model before transitioning to acting.[4] He made his professional film debut in the 2004 film Wheel of Change (directed by Jeta Amata).[5] He now travels between Los Angeles and Nigeria to work.[6]
He appeared in multiple Nigerian films before being cast in Black November opposite Kim Basinger, Mickey Rourke, Vivica A. Fox, Akon, Wyclef Jean, and Anne Heche in 2012.[7]
In 2015, he was cast in the lead role of a gay pastor in the short film Hell or High Water (directed by AMVCA winner Asurf Oluseyi), for which he openly expressed his commitment to working on "socially relevant film(s)".[8][9]
In 2017, News of Africa named him #1 in the 12 Sexiest Nollywood Actors of that year.[10]

Awards and nominations
In 2015, Nwigwe was nominated for a Nollywood and African Film Critics Award, also known as the African Oscars, for Best Actor in a Supporting Role in Black November.[12]
In 2016, he was nominated for Best Supporting Actor of the Year (English) at the City People Entertainment Awards.[13]
