Abbas Ali Atwi (Arabic: عباس علي عطوي; born 15 December 1984), also known as Onika[a] (Arabic: أونيكا), is a Lebanese professional footballer who plays as a striker for club Ansar.[1]

Atwi made his senior debut Bourj in 2000, where he helped his side gain promotion from the Lebanese Second Division. After one season in the Lebanese Premier League, in 2002 he moved to Olympic Beirut where he won the domestic double in his first season. In 2005 Atwi signed for Ahed, with whom he has scored 58 league goals and won five league titles. After 12 years at the club, Atwi joined Ansar. He has played for the Lebanon national team between 2002 and 2016, scoring four goals in 52 appearances.[2]

He earned his nickname "Onika" in reference to the Lebanese chocolate bar Unica as, after being involved in a non-fatal car accident as a kid, the first thing he asked his mother was the chocolate bar that he was holding in his hand during the accident.[3] He is not related to fellow Lebanese football player Abbas Ahmed Atwi.[2]
