Once Jaya has to consult the famous gynecologist Dr. Rajan Bakshi (Puneet Issar), who during the examination, tries to molest her, but she manages to escapes. Ravi and Jaya expose Dr. Rajan with the help of their journalist friend Varsha Sharma (Varsha Usgaonkar). When the police try to arrest him, Dr. Rajan commits suicide, leaving behind his pregnant wife Anuradha R. Bakshi (Anu Aggarwal). Anuradha then suffers a miscarriage, and unaware of her husband's misdemeanour, blames Jaya for wrecking their happy married life. Years later, when Jaya decides to appoint a governess for her daughter, Anuradha takes up the offer under the name of Kiran and soon things in the Kapoor family start going wrong. Her real mission is to make Jaya suffer. How does the innocent Jaya face up to the evil Anuradha, forms the rest of the story.
