Bystřany, formerly Horušany (German: Wisterschan) is a municipality and village in Teplice District in the Ústí nad Labem Region of the Czech Republic. It has about 1,900 inhabitants.
History
The village of Horušany in the Bystřany area was first mentioned in 1238.The first written mention of Bystřany was in the 16th century. Bystřany became an industrial village in the 19th century and remained that way into the 20th.
Transport
The Lovosice–Teplice railway runs through Bystřany.[2]
