History
WBBP was first licensed in 1951, as WFAK, to Frank J. Keegan, operating daytime-only with 1,000 watts. On December 21, 1952, ownership was transferred to the Chickasaw Broadcasting Company, which changed the call letters to WCBR. In 1956 the call letters were changed to WLOK, which was followed in 1964 by a change to WMQM.[3] On September 12, 1994, the station changed its call sign to WNNP for one day, before reverting to WBBP.[4]
