Kwami is a Local Government Area of Gombe State, Nigeria. Its headquarters are in the town of Mallam Sidi. Kwami is bounded in the east by Lake Dadin Kowa. It has an area of 1,787 km2 (690 sq mi) and a population of 195,298 at the 2006 census. It consist of the dominant Fulani tribe and other minority ethnicities. The postal code of the area is 760.[1]
