Hyer's Hotel is a historic hotel in central Madison, Wisconsin, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places[1]
Description
The hotel is located at 854 Jenifer Street (on west corner with Patterson Street), within the Jenifer-Spaight Historic District. It is an example of Italianate architecture.

History
The hotel was built in 1854 by David and Anna Hyer. In 1875, Henry C. Jaquish bought the hotel. During the American Civil War, Union Army soldiers quartered in the building. The hotel was designated a landmark by the Madison Landmarks Commission in 1975.[2] Additionally, it is listed on the Wisconsin State Register of Historic Places.
It was listed on the National Register of Historic Places September 22, 1983.[1]
