The Dr. Charles and Judith Heidelberger House is a historic residence located in Madison, Wisconsin, United States, that is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.[2] The house was built in 1951. A two-story master bedroom, also designed by Herb Fritz, was added in 1956.[3]
History
Charles Heidelberger was a member of the faculty of what would become the University of Wisconsin–Madison and a world-renowned cancer researcher, and member of the National Academy of Sciences,[4] who developed the medication Fluorouracil. The house was added to the State and the National Register of Historic Places June 26, 2017.[5]

Architect Herb Fritz designed a notch into the 1956 addition to the house in order to preserve an extant shagbark hickory tree.
