The Pharmacy Council of Pakistan (ہیئتِ دواسازی پاکستان); acronym PCP) is a professional body for accreditation of pharmacy education and regulation of pharmacy profession in Pakistan.[2] It was established under Pharmacy Act, 1967.[3] The council is also responsible for registration of pharmacists and pharmacy technicians.

Use of Doctor title

The council, in its meeting held on 1.10.2010, has approved the prefix Doctor for the pharmacists holding 5 years PharmD degree.[citation needed]
