Fusinus is a genus of small to large sea snails, marine gastropod mollusks in the family Fasciolariidae, the spindle snails and tulip snaills. [3]

Fossil records

This genus is known in the fossil records from the Cretaceous to the Quaternary (age range: from 94.3 to 0.0 million years ago). Fossils are found in the marine strata all over the whorls.[4]
