Manoharam (transl. Alluring) is a 2000 Indian Telugu-language-language action drama film directed by Gunasekhar and produced by Mullapudi Brahmanandam and Sunkara Madhu Murali under the M.R.C & Melody Combines banner. It stars Jagapati Babu, Laya and music composed by Mani Sharma. The film won four Nandi Awards.[1]

Plot

The film begins with the ISI moles scheming to destabilize India right in the opening shot, followed by their devastating bomb blasts in Coimbatore and Hyderabad. Basha (Mukesh Rishi), an ISI agent, enters India to plant various bomb blasts at various places. Anand (Jagapati Babu) is a regular bank employee, and through a case of mistaken identity by police, he comes out unscathed and exposes the nefarious ISI network. Anand is tried and sentenced to 14 years imprisonment. Anand's wife Usha (Laya) tries to evade her husband with help of a CBI officer Srinivasa Murthy (Prakash Raj).[2]

The film's score was composed by Mani Sharma. Song lyrics were written by Veturi Sundararama Murthy. The soundtrack was released by Mahathi Audio Company.
