Frank A. Calderoni is an American businessman. He is the current Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Anaplan.[1][2] Calderoni has also served as a member of Red Hat Inc. executive staff.[3][4] Since becoming CEO, he has focused on expanding Anaplan planning and data analysis tools.[5][6][7]
Calderoni is also a board member of the Adobe Inc[8] and Palo Alto Networks Inc.[9][10]
Education
Calderoni entered Fordham University, where he received a Bachelor of Science in accounting and finance. He also received an MBA from Pace University in New York.[citation needed]
Career
Anaplan
In 2017, Calderoni was appointed CEO and Chairman of Anaplan. This is Calderoni first privately held startup.[11] Under his leadership the company matured and eventually, an IPO.[12]
Red Hat
In 2015, Calderoni became the chief financial officer and vice president in charge of operations.[5][13] In 2016, Calderoni left Red Hat, to accept a position as CEO for another company.[14][9]
Cisco
In 2007, Calderoni became CFO of Cisco.[15][16][17] Calderoni's work at Cisco centered on sales and services and for the decision support model on Cisco investments.[18] In 2004, Calderoni accepted a position with Cisco Systems from QLogic Corporation, a storage networking company where he was the Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer.[19][20] From 2002 until 2000 he was the senior vice president and CFO of Sandisk Corp, a flash data storage company.[3][5]
IBM
Calderoni started his career at IBM where he was employed for 21 years.[21]
Honors and awards
Institutional Investor Magazine voted Calderoni one of the best CFO of 2012, 2013, and 2014.[22]
In 2013, San Francisco Business Times honored Calderoni CFO of the Year for a public company with revenues above $500 million.[22]
