The pale-vented bush-hen (Amaurornis moluccana), also known as the rufous-tailed bush-hen or rufous-tailed waterhen, is a species of bird in the family Rallidae.

It is found in Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia and the Solomon Islands. Its natural habitat is subtropical or tropical moist lowland forests.
